Are we on the floor or will it fall more in the next year? I have money offshore and want to buy a property before the economy goes into another cycle of growth, seeing much in the foreclosure auctions, the time must be proche.Merci, this confirms my feelings, in an election year and what looks like an economic slowdown expected to be the best approach is for the moment Best Answer.

Most predictions that I’ve seen are for prices to decline for at least another six months and possibly into 2009. If those are right, then you can probably get a better deal by waiting awhile longer.

I don’t think that we are at bottom, but i don’t think that things will go down much more.
I think that properties in many areas are 15-35% overpriced as it is right now, but don’t expect them to go down that much.
Homebuilders or real property…wait a while, but ” commercial” REIT’s may be starting back UP soon.
